Job Description
The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the development, implementation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and performance of critical database systems in SQL Server, MySQL, Azure SQLMI and Azure databases. This includes Application databases and Data Warehouses. They ensure that applications have high availability and consistency by reducing down time and that the data warehouses are highly performant in data ingestion, transformation and query support.
Primary Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for safeguarding the development, availability, and performance of all databases those that support applications and also data warehouses.
Work with application and data warehouses development teams to optimize the use of database systems and ensure all development is as performant, consistent and timely as possible
Assist with database migrations to new cloud services, new cloud accounts, new database services, new data structures (fabric, etc.)
Build on our systems to help teams quickly pinpoint, isolate and resolve issues related to infrastructure, platform services and applications.
Continually maintain and improve software build methodology, procedures, and environment.
Data architecture(Modelling), Design, develop, and maintain product packaging, installation, upgrades, management and administration scripts and utilities.
Deploy, manage, and upgrade systems, services and servers using automated configuration management and service orchestration tools.
Monitor and alert based on system metrics, analysis of logfiles and custom alert rules.
Ensure uptime SLA for the SaaS infrastructure, services, and applications as part of the global team.
Provide mentorship and be knowledgeable of data modeling best practices

Skills and Requirements
BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
MUST have strong, current Azure Data Factory experience
5+ years of experience as a DBA with SQL Server 20XX,2019, Azure SQL Server, MySQL
Experience with deployment and upgrade of engine & clients
Experience with SSIS Packages, T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, views, constraints and functions and the impact on consistency, reliability, and performance
Experience with Azure data factory for datawarehouse and ETL development and optimizations
Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
Experience building processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
Experience with data gathering, data profiling, cleansing and transforming techniques
Data-driven, results-oriented with the ability to quickly analyze data and make decisions that drive performance null
