    About the Role:

    As a CBRE Senior Transaction Management Director, you will oversee the department responsible for performing real estate transaction activities on behalf of clients, including portfolio strategy, site selection, acquisitions, lease negotiations and dispositions.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

    + Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

    + Support staff and internal divisions on the acquisition, management, and disposal of high-value land and facilities.

    + Put in place complex real estate plans with an understanding of the client's strategic real estate goals. Oversee project initiation and scope, and prioritization of assignments.

    + Verify adherence to client-driven priorities, commitments, and milestones.

    + Manage field broker selection and other required resources. Approve proposed team resources for the completion of transactions.

    + Create financial analysis templates and client report packages. Prepare and deliver effective presentations to key stakeholders and investors.

    + Track all transaction activity both commissionable and non-commissionable. Prepare commission forecasts and vouchers.

    + Develop and implement quality assurance programs and processes.

    + Apply deep knowledge of multiple disciplines, broad industry knowledge, and commercial awareness. Drive financial and functional performance within disciplines and across the business.

    + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Negotiate with senior management, customers, and external parties of divergent interests to reach an agreement of strategic importance while being guided by the business segment and the organization's functional strategy.

    + Conceptualize new methods, techniques, processes, and standards across job disciplines or functions.

    + Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems by applying advanced critical thinking.

    What You’ll Need:

    + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 12-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

    + Real Estate Salesperson license required.

    + Retail transactions and financial industry experience are highly desired.

    + Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

    + Ability to exchange sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.

    + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

    + Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.

    + Ability to calculate complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

    + Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior Transaction Management Director position is $159,000 annually or ($76.45 per hour) and the maximum salary for the Senior Transaction Management Director position is $215,000 annually [or $103.37 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
