Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Quality Assurance Technician

**Location:** St Petersburg, FL

**Pay Range:** $23-26/hr

**Shift:** 2nd and 3rd Shift Opportunities (1:45p-10p / 9:45p-6a), and weekends when needed.

What's the Job?

+ Perform functional quality tests on material accurately, and in a timely and efficient manner.

+ Record and report results of inspections, failure analysis, material discrepancies, and defect data using SAP and other related databases.

+ Conduct detailed visual inspections of material to determine product quality.

+ Coordinate with Production line technicians and/or supervisors when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits.

+ Perform root cause failure analysis and disposition of returned material.

What's Needed?

+ High School Diploma/GED.

+ Minimum 1 year of experience within a manufacturing/production/quality environment.

+ Good to proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Able to comprehend engineering drawings and specifications.

+ Knowledge of Quality concepts and terminology such as ISO 9000.
