Our client, an independant retailer in the home improvement industry, is seeking a Paint Store Retail Associate to join their team. As a Paint Store Retail Associate, you will be part of a dynamic environment supporting customer satisfaction and product excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Paint Store Retail Associate

**Location:** Middletown, NY

**Pay Range:** $18 per hour

**Shift:** Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

What's the Job?

+ Greet customers promptly and provide excellent service.

+ Assist customers in selecting paint products and matching or mixing custom colors.

+ Operate our point-of-sale (POS) system to process sales and returns.

+ Load customer orders and help with heavy buckets of paint (must be able to lift up to 70 lbs).

+ Restock shelves and maintain a clean, organized store environment.

What's Needed?

+ Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 70 lbs).

+ Comfortable with mixing paint and learning color matching techniques (training provided).

+ Experience in Retail (Home Improvement) with experience in Hardware/Home Improvement focus strongly needed.

+ Basic computer skills to operate our POS system.

+ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for occasional deliveries.
