    Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS)** has an exciting opportunity for a **Mid-Level Project Management Specialist** to join the Fighters Program Integration Office (PIO) in **Berkeley, MO.

     

    The successful candidate will directly support the PIO Senior Manager for the Fighters organization and execute a wide variety of projects including but not limited to: Capital budgets and LRBP, On time delivery, Quality Management System metrics, RIO metrics, Adaptive planning and resourcing, EVM compliance, Program execution plan compliance, Program Management Best Practices processes and tools, Integration across functions and programs, and Executive-level chart development and meeting facilitation.

     

    This is an exciting role and the successful candidate will be a key member of the Fighters Program Office, helping to ensure seamless operations across the Fighters leadership team with visibility into all the Fighters platforms.

    Position Responsibilities:

    + Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.

    + Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.

    + Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.

    + Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.

    + Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.

    + Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.

    + Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    + 3+ years’ experience working with cross functional teams

    + 3+ years’ experience with managing multiple projects concurrently

    + 3+ years’ experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills

    + 3+ years’ experience using project management methodologies, including developing project plans, performance management, and managing issues and risks

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    + Bachelor’s degree or higher

    + Experience using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP), processes, and method

    + Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

    + Experience working closely with multiple functions, engineering skill codes, product types

    + Experience working with leaders and organizations across any of the Fighters platforms (F-15, F/A-18, F-22, and/or QF-16)

    Travel:

    Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

    Summary pay range: $87,550 - $118,450 USD
