    Robert Half Accountemps (Solana Beach, CA)


    Description

    A well-established real estate investment firm in Solana Beach, CA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to oversee complex financial reporting and support strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting background and experience in real estate or property management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements

    + Manage general ledger activity and account reconciliations

    + Oversee property-level accounting, including CAM reconciliations

    + Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

    + Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers

    + Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies

    + Mentor junior accounting staff and support process improvements

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)

    + 5+ years of accounting experience, with real estate or property management focus

    + Strong understanding of GAAP and real estate accounting practices

    + Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (Yardi or MRI a plus)

    + Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
