About the Role:
We’re seeking a Medical Front Office Receptionist for a long-term temporary opportunity lasting through August or September. This is your chance to play a vital part in providing excellent care while supporting the operations of a mission-driven organization.
In this role, you’ll be the welcoming face of the office and a key contributor to seamless patient experiences. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team to ensure everything from patient check-in to scheduling appointments is handled efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and Check-In Patients: Provide a warm, professional welcome to all visitors and patients.
Insurance and Documentation Handling: Collect and verify insurance information and assist patients with completing necessary forms.
Appointment Coordination: Schedule and manage patient appointments with precision, ensuring the calendar operates smoothly.
Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records, manage phone calls, and address patient inquiries with professionalism.
Support Patient Experience: Facilitate an organized and friendly office environment to ensure patients leave with a positive impression.

What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Previous medical office or receptionist experience preferred, but a strong customer service background combined with administrative skills is also welcomed.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a bonus, but training is available for the right candidate.
Skills: Attention to detail, multitasking ability, strong communication skills, and a patient-centered mindset.
Adaptability: Comfortable with managing varying volumes of patient traffic and handling tasks under minimal supervision.
Requirements • Previous experience in a medical office or receptionist role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills combined with excellent administrative abilities.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is an advantage, but training will be provided.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and staff.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient traffic volumes.
