• Senior Tax Accountant

    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Stow, OH)


    Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team in Stow, Ohio. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in tax preparation and financial reporting to support a diverse range of clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills in both individual and corporate tax returns, as well as bookkeeping responsibilities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare various types of tax returns, including individual (1040s), partnership (1065s), trust/estate, S-Corp, and C-Corp filings.

    • Handle high-net-worth individual tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail.

    • Manage bookkeeping tasks and produce financial statements outside of the busy tax season.

    • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

    • Conduct thorough reviews of tax filings to identify discrepancies and opportunities for optimization.

    • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and integrate them into client strategies.

    • Utilize CCH ProSystem software to streamline tax preparation and reporting processes.

    • Provide support for the preparation of non-profit tax returns as needed.

    • Assist with year-end financial reporting and reconciliation. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation and accounting roles.

    • Strong proficiency in preparing individual and corporate tax returns.

    • Familiarity with partnership, trust, estate, and non-profit tax filings.

    • Experience using CCH ProSystem or similar tax preparation software.

    • Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial statement preparation.

    • Knowledge of current tax laws and regulations.

    • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills.

    • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
