Description We are looking for an experienced Divisional/Plant Controller to oversee financial operations and provide leadership at a manufacturing facility in Troy, New York. This is a contract position lasting approximately three months, offering an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment. Candidates should bring a strong background in plant accounting and financial management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• Oversee manufacturing cost accounting, including analysis and reporting.

• Develop and maintain financial reports that provide actionable insights to plant leadership.

• Lead controllership functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Utilize Oracle as the general ledger system and OneStream for consolidations.

• Coordinate with plant leadership to support operational and strategic decision-making.

• Monitor and analyze budget performance, identifying areas for cost optimization.

• Supervise and mentor staff within the finance department.

• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and reporting standards.

• Collaborate with regional controllers and finance directors to align plant financial goals. Requirements • Proven experience in financial management within a manufacturing or plant environment.

• Proficiency in Oracle for general ledger and OneStream for financial consolidations.

• Strong expertise in manufacturing cost accounting and analysis.

• Familiarity with month-end close processes and financial reporting.

• Ability to work on-site with potential flexibility for one remote day per week.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
