Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join a Fortune 500 Healthcare company. This is a long-term contract position within the healthcare industry, offering an opportunity to refine payroll expertise while contributing to essential financial processes. The role requires someone eager to learn, highly self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a dynamic office environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage payroll processes, including manual handling of overpayments and ensuring accuracy in employee paychecks.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and enhance understanding of final pay procedures.

• Address employee inquiries related to payroll discrepancies and provide clear resolutions.

• Maintain compliance with company policies and regulations regarding payroll and benefits.

• Participate in automating payroll functions to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.

• Create and manage monthly office rotation calendars for on-site work schedules.

• Support audits and reviews of payroll processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.

• Administer benefits-related functions, including 401k and RRSP contributions.

• Utilize accounting software systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian Dayforce to manage payroll operations.

• Assist with training and onboarding related to new payroll systems and processes.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of payroll experience

• Proven experience with payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or Dayforce.

• Familiarity with benefit administration, including 401k and RRSP plans.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and tools.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills to address employee concerns and collaborate with team members.

• Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to evolving payroll processes.
