**Adecco is hiring immediately for Shop Assistants with our client in Warren, MI.** Weekly pay starting at **$18 per hour** and **competitive benefits** with options such as medical, dental, vision, and more. As a Shop Assistant, you will work closely with the Shift Supervisor, performing general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, moving materials, and assisting with day-to-day shop operations. **This position is ideal for someone with good energy who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty and is comfortable with janitorial tasks** such as power washing floors and cleaning spills.

Responsibilities:

+ Provide general assistance around the shop, including administrative and technical support.

+ Perform material handling duties including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving items.

+ Operate hand and power tools, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts (or be able to obtain certification).

+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop floor environment—including janitorial tasks such as spill cleanup and floor washing.

+ Support general shop operations, documentation, and basic computer tasks as needed.

Requirements:

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or shop environment, with 2+ years at a single employer (demonstrating longevity).

+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

+ Comfortable standing for the entire shift, performing physical labor, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

+ Some computer experience (MS Office) preferred.

+ Must have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

+ Ability to drive a hi-lo or obtain certification.

**Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour
