    Job Summary:

    The Indirect Sourcing Analyst II is responsible for executing indirect procurement activities at Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America (PECNA) across categories such as IT, facilities, professional services, and MRO. This role supports sourcing strategy execution by managing RFx events, analyzing spend data, and contributing to contract and supplier management efforts. The Analyst II partners closely with internal stakeholders and global teams to drive sourcing initiatives that deliver cost reduction, compliance, and operational efficiency. This position requires growing analytical acumen, attention to detail, and effective cross-functional collaboration. It offers the opportunity to deepen sourcing capabilities within a dynamic, fast-paced, and globally connected manufacturing environment.

    Essential Duties:

    Spend and Data Analysis:

    + Analyze spend and supplier data to identify cost savings and supplier consolidation opportunities

    + Assist in developing should-cost models and perform benchmarking and market analyses

    + Create dashboards and sourcing performance reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools

    + Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analysis activities

    Strategic Sourcing Execution:

    + Coordinate and manage RFx processes, including development of bid packages, supplier communications, and event scheduling

    + Draft and issue RFQs for standardized goods and services; compile supplier quotes for analysis

    + Evaluate supplier responses and provide comparative analysis to support stakeholder decision-making

    + Draft basic contract documents and facilitate contract reviews with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams

    + Gain practical experience with ERP, CLM, and eSourcing platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua)

    Supplier and Contract Management:

    + Support supplier onboarding, due diligence, and risk assessment activities

    + Track supplier performance using KPIs and assist with quarterly business reviews and corrective action plans

    + Monitor and update contract databases to ensure compliance, renewal readiness, and audit preparedness

    Stakeholder Engagement and Compliance:

    + Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to define requirements and gather sourcing inputs

    + Train internal users on procurement tools and promote sourcing best practices and compliance

    + Support procurement policy adherence through reporting, communication, and process documentation

    + Assist in translating stakeholder needs into actionable sourcing requirements and solutions

    Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

    + To ensure health and safety in the workplace and for employee protection, wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator. A respirator fit test will be required based on functional area.

    Qualifications

    Requirements - Required and/or Preferred:

    Education:

    + **Required:** Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, STEM, or related field

    + **Preferred:** Advanced coursework/certification in strategic sourcing or procurement

    Essential Qualifications:

    + 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain, preferably in indirect categories

    + Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and sourcing tools/platforms

    + Knowledge of RFx management, supplier evaluation techniques, and basic contract terms

    + Strong communication, prioritization, and stakeholder engagement skills

    + Willingness to learn and use procurement systems, eSourcing platforms, and ERP tools

    + Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English

    + Alignment to Panasonic’s seven (7) core principles (contribution to society, fairness and honesty, cooperation and team spirit, untiring effort for improvement, courtesy and humility, adaptability, gratitude)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience sourcing in MRO, IT, or facilities categories

    + Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) and eSourcing platforms (Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua)

    + Exposure to ESG, sustainability, or supplier diversity programs

    + Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement environments

    + Self-starter with a proactive approach to learning and problem solving

    + Experience collaborating with global or offshore teams

    + Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese for effective cross-cultural communication

    Preferred Certification(s):

    + CPSM or CSCP in progress

    + Lean Six Sigma White or Yellow Belt
