Environmental Reviewer

Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Sr Reviewer to lead technical reviews and sign off on Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge in geology, environmental science, or engineering. The candidate must be detail-oriented, experienced with equity and lender ESAs, and capable of mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct technical reviews and sign-offs as an Environmental Professional (EP) on Phase I ESAs.

+ Coordinate with junior staff during the Phase I ESA process.

+ Communicate findings with clients effectively.

+ Manage research, field activities, and report preparation.

+ Mentor and guide junior staff.

+ Develop conclusions and recommendations based on findings.

+ Interpret data and information accurately.

+ Review and revise reports prepared by junior staff.

+ Prepare comprehensive technical reports for clients.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, engineering, or a related science field.

+ 5-10 years of experience performing Phase I ESAs.

+ 5-10 years or more of experience in technically reviewing and providing sr sign-off on Phase I ESAs.

+ Experience in preparing equity purchase Phase I ESAs.

+ Experience in preparing Lender Phase I ESAs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong communication skills.

+ Detail-oriented with the ability to mentor junior staff.

+ Experienced in geology, environmental science, or engineering.

Work Environment

This position can be hybrid if local to Moorestown, NJ, or fully remote with 5-10% travel. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.27/hr.
