At Kuehne+Nagel, our Jersey City headquarters is seeking a strategic and experienced **Senior Director, National Vertical Leader – Semiconductor** to lead our Sales team. How you create impact
As the Senior Director, you will lead the semiconductor vertical across North America, managing a network of sales resources and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver innovative logistics solutions. You’ll serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring seamless communication and execution across business units and regions.
You will:
+ Lead and coordinate sales efforts for strategic semiconductor customers across North America
+ Identify and align internal resources to maximize value creation opportunities
+ Build and maintain high-level relationships with key customer contacts
+ Act as the primary liaison between customers and Kuehne+Nagel leadership to resolve issues proactively
+ Promote cross-regional and cross-functional collaboration to support customer business plans
+ Report on strategic customer development and performance to senior leadership
+ Oversee training and compliance for the Key Account Management (KAM) team
+ Manage team travel and expenses in line with company policies
+ Conduct performance reviews and support professional development of the KAM team
What we would like you to bring
+ 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding sales and account management
+ Proven experience in the semiconductor vertical
+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
+ Strong leadership and communication skills
+ Creative ability to develop and implement team-based sales strategies
+ Deep understanding of logistics operations and customer value delivery

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data. #LI-TW1
