    Job Title: Sanitation Worker

    Job Description

    The Sanitation Technician is tasked with cleaning and sanitizing all machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure a clean environment for producing and packaging quality products. This role is crucial in maintaining hygiene standards and supporting the production process.

     

    **Shift:** 12:30noon to 9:00pm Monday to Thursday

     

    9:00am – 6pm Fridays

    Responsibilities

    + Clean and sanitize machinery and equipment.

    + Maintain cleanliness in all facilities to ensure a hygienic production environment.

    + Follow established cleaning procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

    + Assist in various tasks as needed to support the team.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in manufacturing and food production.

    + Knowledge of GMPs and sanitation procedures.

    + Ability to work with production equipment and sanitation machinery.

    + Good written and verbal communication skills.

    + Average mathematical skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Basic knowledge of the function and operation of sanitation equipment.

    + Ability to gain knowledge of industry-standard cleaning procedures.

    + Attention to detail and a sense of urgency in matters of food safety.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    + Capacity to work 2nd shift.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a new, sterile, and clean almond factory, equipped with machinery transferred from a former New York plant. This is not a start-up but a large company with two other plants nearby. The position requires working on the 2nd shift, from 12:30 PM to 9 PM, Monday to Friday. Please note that individuals with tree nut allergies may not be suitable for this role.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pennsauken, New Jersey.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
