Job Description
The Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational readiness of flight operations by maintaining, repairing, and operating specialized ground support equipment. This position is vital for ensuring safe and efficient aircraft servicing during pre-flight, post-flight, and maintenance operations.
Pay Rate: $30/h - $32/h
Responsibilities
+ Operate and maintain ground support equipment such as hydraulic test stands, air start units, ground power units, tractors and tugs, and nitrogen and oxygen servicing carts.
+ Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on GSE assets.
+ Conduct inspections and diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
+ Support launch and recovery operations, including aircraft towing and parking.
+ Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment usage records.
+ Ensure compliance with military safety protocols and technical orders.
+ Coordinate with aircraft maintenance crews and flight line personnel.
Essential Skills
+ 4+ years of experience with Ground Support Equipment.
+ Proficiency in operating and maintaining various ground support equipment.
+ Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems related to aircraft support.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
