Seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Fleet Mechanic to join our maintenance team. If you’re passionate about keeping public transportation running safely and efficiently, this is your opportunity to make a difference in your community.

• Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on diesel buses and support vehicles.

+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air systems.

+ Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with DOT and FTA standards.

+ Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders using fleet management software.

+ Respond to road calls and perform emergency repairs as needed.

• Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or GED required; technical training in diesel mechanics preferred.

+ 2+ years of experience in diesel vehicle maintenance (transit or heavy-duty preferred).

+ Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or ability to obtain).

+ Strong knowledge of diesel engines, air brakes, and electrical systems.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
