Now Hiring: School Police Officer

Pay Rate: $27.00 - $30.00

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7AM – 3 PM | Work 4-5 days per week

Job Summary:

US Security Care is seeking experienced, professional School Police Officers (SPOs) to patrol school facilities and grounds, helping to maintain a safe and secure environment for students and staff. Officers may be assigned to a fixed post or mobile patrol and must be prepared to operate in both controlled and unpredictable conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Patrol school property to prevent disruptions, unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism.

+ Work assigned or rotating shifts.

+ Perform duties in uniform or plainclothes, depending on the assignment.

Required Qualifications:

+ Valid driver's license

+ Act 235 PA Lethal Weapons Certification

+ Prior experience as a Municipal, State, Federal, or Military Police Officer (MP or MA), or in Corrections

+ Weapons qualification

+ Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

+ High school diploma or GED

+ Knowledge of Pennsylvania laws and school district policies

+ Minimum 4 years of experience in police, military, or corrections roles

+ Proficient with basic office equipment

+ Strong organizational skills

+ Current clearances as required by PA law:

+ Act 34 (Criminal History)

+ Act 151 (Child Abuse)

+ FBI Fingerprint Clearance

+ Any additional state-mandated clearances
