Special Security Technician, Mid
Key Role:
Function as a Controlled Access Program Control Officer ( CAPCO ) responsible for managing access to Controlled Access Program ( CAP ) materials. Open, maintain, and close compartmented areas ( CA ) in compliance with Intelligence Community ( IC ) and Department of Defense ( DOD ) policies . Provide guidance and support for processing CAP eligibility requests for assigned military personnel, government personnel, and contractors. Obtain signed n ond isclosure agreements and c ond uct relevant SCI security briefings such as indoctrinations, annual training sessions, and debriefings.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Experience controlling access to Controlled Access Program (CAP) material per ODNI and partner agency policies
+ Experience providing training on Intelligence Community ( IC ) and Department of Defense ( DOD ) CAP policies , goals, and procedures
+ Experience verifying visitor clearances for accessing CAP material in Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities ( SCIFs )
+ Experience c ond ucting audits of classified material, including inspections of storage facilities, SCIFs, and containers
+ Ability to evaluate the relevance of new CAPs to combatant command-level operations
+ TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
+ Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in industrial security, or 7+ years of experience in industrial security in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
+ Experience researching and preparing policy and management recommendations related to classified materials
+ Ability to coordinate and oversee various activities within a command, ensuring alignment with established standard
+ Ability to travel to assist with audits and certification processes for Functional, Components, Regions, and Separates (C/R/S)
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
