Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will review, approve, and track to completion all local service requests and all technical representative requests for creating, moving or deactivating accounts. You will be responsible for all aspects of e-Marketplace administration to include user training, access control invoicing and e-forms in the intranet environment. You will be responsible for maintaining related Information Security instructions and ensure appropriate security documents are posted to command websites. You will coordinate the distribution and support of systems such as mobile phones, computers, and multifunctional devices, etc., used in day to day operations and management of RCC Great Lakes and subordinate commands. You will provide users with advice and notification in regard to security issues affecting applicable systems such as the internet and intranet. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in applying Information Technology Security regulations, requirement and procedures. Experience with major issues, program goals and objectives, work processes, and administrative operations of the assigned program and administrative operations of the Intranet. Experience with policies, practices, and technical management guidelines to provide advisory services, consultation, technical assistance and/or training. This includes the necessary technical skills needed to utilize and understand IT management applications. Education This standard allows eligibility through meeting either the requirements specified in the section titled Education or the requirements specified in the section titled Experience. Education: All academic degrees and coursework must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions and transcripts must be submitted Graduate Education: Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks. master's degree or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree or Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
