Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated **Security Shift Supervisor** for an overnight position at a busy **retail shopping area in downtown Chicago** . This role requires strong leadership and the ability to manage a team in a high-traffic, customer-facing environment. The ideal candidate will have prior security and supervisory experience, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Compensation

**Hourly Rate:** $20.00 / HR

**Employment Type:** Full Time

Schedule Details

**Shifts Available:** Overnight / Midnight-8:00am

**Shift Days:** Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday

Job Duties

+ Supervise and support security staff during overnight shifts

+ Ensure post orders and security protocols are followed

+ Conduct patrols and manage access control in the retail shopping area

+ Deliver excellent customer service to guests and store personnel

+ Respond to incidents, complete reports, and escalate as needed

+ Maintain a professional and visible presence on site

Requirements

+ 1–2 years of security experience

+ Prior supervisory experience

+ Must be able to walk/stand for long periods

+ High school diploma or GED

+ Must be at least 21 years old

+ Must pass background check and drug screening

+ Able to:

+ Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat

+ Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds

+ Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift

+ Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
