    General Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or related field, with a minimum of six years professional coaching experience in respective sport. Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience.

    Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:

    Serves as assigned in one, or a combination of the following Basketball program areas: Offensive Assistant, Defensive Assistant, or Assistant Head Coach for Administration. Supervises any special programs as assigned.

    Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only):

    Coaches student athletes to perform in Basketball. Responsible for but not limited to standard and advanced accepted coaching duties. Included as typical coaching duties are team supervision and scheduling. Other projects may include public relations and summer camps. Administrative duties such as contracts and records of student personnel. Teaches, tutors, instructs or lectures student athletes in the rules and fundamentals of their sport. Instructs student athletes in the areas of physical health, team concepts, and safety; designs instructions for individual or team needs. May be required to teach in an academic program at the discretion of the Athletic Director. Performs other related duties as assigned.
