Zions Bancorporation is now accepting applications for a Loan Closing Manager to join our new Commercial Loan Fulfillment team. This is your opportunity to join a great team and company.
The position will be located in AZ, CA, CO, ID, NV, TX, or UT.
What your day will look like:
+ Directly and through subordinates, manage loan closing operations and staff.
+ Establish and maintain closing processes and procedures to ensure quality customer service.
+ Manage loan closing activities including the completion of all due diligence activities associated with the preparation of loan closing documents.
+ Manage the requesting, reviewing, and interpretation of third-party documents needed to provide the clear to close, and efforts to prepare loan closing documents for loans. Be responsible for daily workflow to ensure operating schedules are met and staff is adequately trained.
+ Manage staff, set work schedules, allocate and monitor work.
+ Assist manager in providing efficient and effective services to customers.
+ Review and analyze existing procedures and recommend changes when necessary to make process efficient.
+ Oversee the verification and quality control of loan documents.
+ Manage work queue and assign due diligence and closing tasks to loan closers.
+ Manage overflow of queues and clear any existing work backlogs.
+ Assist the loan closers, client relationship associates, and relationship managers to troubleshoot issues.
+ Provide technical support and guidance.
+ Manage, implement, and maintain the ongoing monitoring of individual and departmental productivity measures.
+ Ensure staffing levels needs are met.
+ May oversee or handle directly more complex or unique transactions.
+ Administer Bank policies and procedures and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
+ Recommend improved processes and implement department policies, procedures and systems.
+ Maintain working relationships with branch staff, lending officers, and credit administrators.
+ Authority concerning staffing, performance evaluations, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the table:
+ Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4+ yrs of loan processing, loan operations, and credit analysis or other directly related experience.
+ A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
+ Management or supervisory experience required.
+ Requires a considerable working knowledge of lending operations, processing, documentation, credit analysis, loan processes and procedures, laws and regulations.
+ Requires a working knowledge of related fields including banking, lending, credit administration, and the ability to apply that information to the current role.
+ Strong analysis and problem resolution skills.
+ Ability to maintain working relationships with lenders, management, and administrative staff.
+ Must have solid leadership and management capabilities and be goal oriented.
+ Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Experience with LaserPro preferred.
