    The McCoy Group has an opening for a full-time IT Director of Applications at our corporate office in Dubuque, Iowa.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):

    + Work closely with Operations teams to prioritize IT projects and meet line of business goals

    + Lead teams including the design/architecture, planning, and deployments of new Business Systems & Services

    + Ensure the business applications team provides consistent system stability, reliability, availability, and exceptional customer service

    + Maintain and upgrade existing systems and integrations

    + Coordinate project tasks with IT team members, internal stakeholders, and vendors, including procurement and scheduling of services

    + Technical working knowledge of all applications in the portfolio including system capabilities, enhancements, customers, interfaces, data quality, and security protocols

    + Execute Vision for optimizing data management, enabling business insight through Data Analytics

    + Be skilled in the following areas:

    + Ability to promote Professionalism and Pride within the work force

    + Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities on short notice

    + Ability to carry out Company policies and understand proper protocol

    + Willingness to learn and able to cross train in various areas of the department

    + Communicate and Listen Effectively

    + Ability to maintain clear and accurate records

    + Work closely and in the spirit of cooperation with the Corporate and local teams

    + Maintain onsite regular attendance as scheduled

    + Participate in process quality improvement activities and program certification

    Education, Skills and Knowledge required:

    Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field plus at least 5 years of experience in leading large-scale technology implementation projects

     

    + Success leading the design, configuration, deployment and support, of large and enterprise-wide solutions and integrations

    + Outcome driven, following standard processes to ensure completeness of project design and execution

    + Excellent time management and organizational skills

    + Technical Proficiency in common IT systems and terminology including

    + SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Proficiency (5+ years)

    + Data Architecture in support of Data Analysis tools (Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)

    + Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

    + Programming languages and frameworks

    + Access and Data security protocols

    + General Network and Server architecture

    + Possess outstanding communication (oral/written) skills and a high attention to detail

    + Skilled in customer service and human relations and act in a professional and positive manner

    + Present neat, clean, professional appearance of self and use proper business etiquette

    + Must be skilled in working with confidential information

    + Must be flexible with schedule and able to travel occasionally
