    Job Overview:

    Continental Tide is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support our Fleet Services Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for program execution of ship Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) or electronic system projects and client management.

    Required Experience:

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    + Provide onsite shipboard Leadership and direct work of employees assigned to large industrial installation projects

    + Responsible for client management, to include but not limited to maintaining CDRLs (CONTRACT DATA REQUIREMENTS LIST), schedules, and budget.

    + Oversees and directs “Program-level” and/or multiple “Project-level” initiatives within the constructs of corporate initiatives and directives.

    + Prepares Status Reports and works to ensure plans adhere to contract specifications and overall corporate goals.

    + Ensures compliance with all contract requirements and allocates all appropriate resources

    + Develop proposal responses, overall project estimates, including “Condition Found” reporting cost efforts and prepare status reports

    + Work with Continental Tide Senior Management and Department heads on strategic initiatives and identification of growth opportunities

    + Perform duties outside of specialty to complete work assignment

    + Prepares Status Reports and works to ensure plans adhere to contract specifications and overall corporate goals.

    + Expert in a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.

    + Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.

    + Assist project execution by streamlining processes from award to project planning (kick-off meetings, team compositions, personnel, schedules, etc) and ensuring the Project Manager/Lead is fully prepared to transition into the process and take the lead.

    + Assist and support the work of other Continental Tide employees including multiple Project / Program Managers and a variety of tasks.

    Requirements:

    + Target education and experience: Must possess a bachelor’s degree in a Technical or Business area of focus. 10+ years of experience working with HM&E systems or electronic systems aboard US Navy ships may be acceptable in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

    + Familiar with FAR clauses, NAVSEA Standard Items, 9090-310 Technical Specifications and contract management

    + Ability to develop proposal and estimate responses (IDIQ / Seaport-e) is a must

    + Ability to read and interpret NAVSEA Standard Items and ship specifications

    + Must have or have the ability to obtain SECRET clearance

    + Must have the ability to obtain base access and security credentials

    + Travel may be required within and outside of the continental United States.

    + Due to export control regulations, this role is open to U.S. citizens only.

    Additional Requirements:

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills

    + Demonstrate problem-solving, decision-making skills and attention to detail

    + Ability to work independently and execute multiple assigned tasks simultaneously

    + Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

    Physical Requirements:

    + Exposure to open-air environments, including noisy, hot, and cold conditions.

    + Required to visit project sites aboard ships and rigs, both onshore and offshore.

    + Must wear various types of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as hearing, eye, head, and hand protection, as required.

    + Site visits may involve standing on a variety of surfaces and angles, bending, crouching, and climbing over obstructions such as scaffolding, ladders, and internal barge or boat structural components.

    + Exposure to sound levels exceeding 100 decibels.

    + Must possess sufficient visual acuity, peripheral vision, depth perception, and night vision to inspect marine components and systems, identify defects or irregularities, and safely operate tools and equipment.

    + May work in confined spaces with limited ventilation.

    + Requires prolonged periods of sedentary work, including sitting and/or standing.

    + May be required to operate machinery, power tools, and/or heavy equipment.

    + Must be able to communicate effectively to exchange and comprehend information.

    + Frequent exposure to extreme weather conditions, including high heat and extreme cold.

    + Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. or more, depending on the task requirements.
