Description About Us: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our accounts receivable processes. This is a vital role for maintaining the company’s cash flow and ensuring strong financial operations.

Position Summary: The Accounts Receivable Manager will lead the accounts receivable (AR) function to ensure the accurate and timely collection of outstanding payments, maintain healthy customer accounts, oversee the credit and collections process, and support overall cash management strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, an eye for process optimization, and proven leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities: AR Process Oversight: Manage daily operations of the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, payment posting, and reconciling customer accounts (Source: Robert Half Accounts Receivable Best Practices). Collections Management: Develop and execute effective collection strategies to minimize aging receivables and bad debts. Credit Review: Evaluate and authorize customer credit applications, ensuring credit limits align with company policies. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the AR team to support detail oriented growth and maintain a high-performing financial operations function. Customer Relations: Act as the point of escalation for issues related to overdue accounts or disputed invoices, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring timely resolution. Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present AR and collections reports, including DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) metrics and aging summaries, to senior management. Compliance: Ensure all AR practices comply with company policies, GAAP standards, and applicable laws. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to streamline AR operations and increase efficiency. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments Advanced analytical skills with expertise in Excel and financial reporting tools. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. Experience implementing AR automation solutions and process improvements is a plus.
