    Description

    Our client, in the marketing and communications industry, is looking for a dynamic VP of Finance to join their executive leadership team.

     

    This is a strategic finance leadership opportunity where you’ll be a true business partner to the CEO and part of a collaborative operations team (HR, IT, Office Admin). You’ll be involved in planning, budgeting, utilization strategy, and company-wide decision-making.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting

    • Own monthly/quarterly financials, reporting, and cash flow analysis

    • Oversee payroll, billing, AP, and vendor/client financial operations

    • Mentor and manage 2 tenured team members

    • Contribute to company leadership, agency growth, and culture

    • Represent finance externally with clients, vendors, and partners

    Requirements

    What We’re Looking For:

    • 12+ years of finance/accounting experience,

    • Background in advertising, PR, communications, or marketing

    • Strong QuickBooks and Excel proficiency

    • Hands-on leader with a strategic mindset and strong attention to detail

    • Entrepreneurial spirit and people-first approach

    • Compensation: $160K–$200K + discretionary bonus

    • Schedule: Hybrid (2 days/week in office – flexible days)
