Description

We are looking for a skilled Financial Business Systems Analyst to join our clients team in San Jose, California to help support a 2-3 month project. In this role, you will focus on optimizing Oracle Fusion Financial systems, particularly within Accounts Payable, to enhance operational efficiency and compliance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with finance and IT teams to streamline processes and drive impactful improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the subject matter expert on Oracle Fusion Financials with a focus on Accounts Payable, ensuring system configurations align with business and operational goals.

• Collaborate with finance leadership to evaluate and refine Accounts Payable processes for improved efficiency and compliance.

• Configure Oracle to manage freight-related tax treatments across various jurisdictions, maintaining consistency with corporate tax policies.

• Partner with Treasury and Accounts Payable teams to automate wire payment processes, both domestic and international, reducing manual intervention.

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and documentation for newly implemented system changes and automated processes.

• Work closely with accounting teams to improve month-end close procedures, including automation of accruals and reconciliation processes.

• Support internal controls review to ensure workflows comply with audit and organizational standards.

• Create and manage ad hoc financial reports in Oracle Fusion, such as vendor analysis and tax reporting.

• Provide troubleshooting and functional support for Oracle Accounts Payable-related issues, working with IT teams and external vendors when necessary.

• Assist with user acceptance testing, training, and change management efforts during system updates or rollouts.

Requirements • Proven experience working with Oracle Fusion Financials, particularly Accounts Payable modules.

• Strong understanding of financial systems and business processes.

• Expertise in automating domestic and international wire transfer payments.

• Familiarity with tax policies and freight-related tax treatments.

• Ability to analyze and enhance workflows to support compliance and operational goals.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot system issues effectively.

• Experience creating and maintaining documentation for financial systems and processes.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams, including IT and finance.
