Job Posting: Clinical Pharmacist

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping and supporting our pharmacy programs, ensuring high-quality care and compliance across services. Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop clinical criteria for medications and recommend plan design changes.

+ Initiate and monitor clinical programs, including Drug Utilization Review (DUR) for Medicaid and Medicare.

+ Review and assess prior authorization requests.

+ Provide clinical support across internal departments and respond to pharmacy-related inquiries.

+ Ensure quality control and identify opportunities for performance improvement.

+ Create and maintain pharmacy policies and procedures.

+ Coordinate and support the Medicare Medication Therapy Management (MTM) program.

+ Collaborate with the case management team, including presenting during clinical rounds.

Qualifications:

+ PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

+ Active pharmacist license in the state of residence.

+ Experience in managed care, clinical program development, or prior authorization review preferred.

+ Strong communication and analytical skills.

+ Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
