    Job Description

    Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager – Invenergy Central Warehouse

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager to lead our Central Warehouse team. As a Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager , you will play a vital role in developing and implementing our central warehouse o perations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction are met.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop, uphold, and enforce safety standards, protocols, and procedures.

    + Development on internal controls, processes, and procedures

    + Recruit, train, manage, and lead a team of warehouse and logistic technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity.

    + Assist with the selection and purchase of tools and other equipment needed for the facility.

    + Safely operate warehouse equipment and supervise employees in the same

    + Supervise and lead a crew of warehouse and logistics technicians in executing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.

    + Monitor and manage the budget for the machine shop, including expenses related to equipment maintenance and personnel.

    + Represent Invenergy to internal and external stakeholders.

    + Provide a high level of professionalism and technical expertise .

    + Plan and manage workflow to meet production targets and deadlines.

    + Coordinate shipments via FedEx / UPS, Local and National LTL / Flatbed shipping companies as well as internal Invenergy resources to execute logistics of Invenergy Central Warehouse Orders

    + Coordinate with warehouse and machine shop groups to execute the loading and unloading of components from the warehouse and central machine shop

    + Unloading /loading shipments via forklift/overhead - crane/pallet - jack and supervise

    + Be responsible for v erify ing inventory , documenting incoming /outgoing goods in our warehouse tracking system .

    + Assemble kits to be placed into stock and update our warehouse tracking system accordingly.

    + Pull and pick inventory in a safe and efficient manner to fill incoming orders

    + Maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking stock levels, and performing blind and spot-check inventory counts.

    + Communicate order status to internal and external stakeholders.

    + Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment, including regular housekeeping tasks.

    + Receive, load, an unload central machine shop inventory and equipment

    + Coordinate with Invenergy’s alternate warehouse locations to coordinate just-in-time inventory fulfillment

    + Adhering to all Invenergy and OSHA safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of equipment and personal protective equipment.

    + Working effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

    Required Skills

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Four (4) years warehousing experience

    + A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.

    + Experience operating forklifts

    + Experience in supervising and leading warehouse technicians

    + Computer proficiency with various software (both standard and job specific)

    + Positive attitude and a strong work ethic

    + Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety

    + Desire for continuous learning and a willingness to take on challenges.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changes on short notice.

    + Ability to move and manipulate up to 45 kg (100 pounds).

    + Must be able to climb ladders

    + Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

    + Some, infrequent, project specific travel required .

    Preferred Skills

    + A degree in a technical discipline is preferred.

    + Understanding of supply chain processes.

    + Proficiency in analyzing production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

    + Overhead gantry crane or crane experience

    + Familiarity with regulations, standards, and best practices regarding the layout and workflow at industrial facilities.

    + Strong attention to detail, accuracy, quality, and an unwavering commitment to safety.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changes on short notice.

    + Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

    + Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

    + Experience in budget management and cost control.

    + Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.

     

    This is a safety sensitive position. Individuals receiving conditional offers of employment will be subject to drug testing and must receive a negative result to begin working for the company.

     

    Base Pay

     

    $80,000 to $110,000 USD Annual

     

    Bonus: 0 - 20%

     

    The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills. In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance.
