    Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Marketing Department with the 319th Force Support Squadron located on Grand Forks AFB, ND. This is a part-time position. Incumbent is eligible for medical/dental benefits, life insurance, retirement and 401k. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Marketing Director, maintains all FSS social media and digital marketing content and assists with creation of marketing content and campaigns. Supports all aspects of the squadron's promotion and publicity program and works very closely with all the members of the marketing and publicity department. Collects and disseminates information about squadron's programs and activities. Distributes outdoor signs, banners, flyers, posters, brochures, menus and other printed material to facilities and keeps tabs on what needs to be updated or taken down. Attends Newcomers briefing at AFRC and other briefings as required. Attends special events as needed, sometimes working on weekends or evenings. Assists with graphic designs and maintaining the squadron's public online platforms, upgrading in terms of content and improvements to take advantage of the latest technology. Assists with creating basic routine digital artwork, illustrations, and advertising materials for multi-media presentations and the FSS Marketing Design Center. Creates and sends weekly e-mail and opt-in texting blasts to targeted base groups. May assist in designing, laying-out, illustrating and producing graphic communications using computer software. Acts as the Marketing Design Center lead, providing customer service support, quotes for projects, invoice tracking and bookkeeping each month. Updates and keeps track of current ads and PowerPoint presentations on Marketing screens in various FSS Facilities, including the outdoor marquee. Performs other related duties as assigned. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Possess functional knowledge with different graphic programs such as Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. Must have clerical experience in which the employee demonstrated the ability to perform at the grade level of the position, which may require receiving and compiling information and data, the correct use of English grammar and spelling. Must have general knowledge of typical office and printing equipment. Must familiar with the operation of digital cameras. Must have ability to read, write, and speak English. Requires satisfactory completion of a NAC. Must possess a valid driver's license. Knowledge of marketing techniques such as focus groups, comment cards, and interviews. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement.. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. Direct deposit is required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. A probationary period may be required. Pre-employment requirements must be satisfactorily met prior to Entrance on Duty (EOD).
