    Job Title: Process Technician

    Job Description

    This role involves maintaining and overseeing the injection molding area, which includes 4-6 machines. The Process Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, making adjustments to the lines, starting up and shutting down the machines, and providing leadership within the machine operator cell to ensure production quotas are met.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain the injection molding area consisting of 4-6 machines.

    + Troubleshoot the line to correct any issues that arise.

    + Adjust speed, feed, and temperature of the lines.

    + Start up and shut down the lines.

    + Provide leadership and assign tasks within the machine operator cell.

    + Ensure production quotas are met.

    Essential Skills

    + Troubleshooting skills.

    + Plastic processing experience.

    + Mold inspection expertise.

    + Quality control and quality checks.

    + Preventative maintenance skills.

    + Mechanical repairs and troubleshooting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2+ years of plastic processing experience.

    + Documentation experience related to quality, adjustments/changes, and production goals.

    + Visual quality inspection experience.

    + Experience in starting up and shutting down machines.

    + Leadership/team lead experience.

    + Injection molding experience.

    + Preventative maintenance experience.

    + High mechanical aptitude is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    The facility is an injection molding location producing plastic buckets and lids, with a production capacity of 35,000 buckets per day. The environment is very clean and climate-controlled, with no mandatory overtime. The schedule includes **one opening for the day shift from 7 am to 7 pm and two openings for the night shift from 7 pm to 7 am. Candidates must be open to working either shift.**

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $62400.00/yr.
