Job Title: Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled mechanic to join our team and maintain, repair, and troubleshoot forklifts and loaders used in the production process. The role requires diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring that equipment operates efficiently.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot forklifts and loaders.

+ Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.

+ Perform preventative maintenance tasks.

+ Ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency.

+ Develop and follow maintenance schedules.

Essential Skills

+ Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.

+ Experience with preventative maintenance and developing maintenance schedules.

+ Effective communication skills.

+ Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

+ Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in maintenance and repair tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and welding.

+ Skill in troubleshooting and repair.

+ Knowledge of forklift operations and brake systems.

Work Environment

The work environment is industrial, with conditions that may be dirty and loud. Shifts are scheduled from 7am to 7pm, with overtime as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
