    Job Title: Millwright

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled millwright responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance. The role involves welding using MIG, STICK, and TIG techniques for various projects, performing lockout tagout procedures, fabricating parts, and installing and troubleshooting machinery. The successful candidate will troubleshoot and repair conveyors, agitators, gearboxes, motors, paper recycling machines, valves, pumps, switch gears, clutches, jackshafts, rolls, splicing equipment, and work with hydraulic and pneumatic machinery. Additionally, installing bearings and seals on machinery and abiding by all company and OSHA standards are essential duties.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance.

    + Perform welding using MIG, STICK, and TIG techniques.

    + Implement lockout tagout procedures.

    + Fabricate parts for various projects.

    + Install and troubleshoot machinery.

    + Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, agitators, gearboxes, motors, and more.

    + Work with hydraulic and pneumatic machinery.

    + Install bearings and seals on machinery.

    + Adhere to company and OSHA standards.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of experience as a millwright/mechanic.

    + Welding experience (MIG & STICK).

    + Experience working with voltages up to 480V.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience working in a paper mill, refinery, power plant, chemical, or steel mill.

    + Possession of own tools.

    Work Environment

     

    The role is located inside the mill on the manufacturing floor. The environment can be dirty and hot during summer, while it cools down in the winter. Initially, candidates will work day shift from 7am to 3pm. Flexibility to work the Dupont schedule is preferred, as it is favored by most of the maintenance team.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Alsip, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $60923.20 - $76960.00/yr.
