Job Description

This Technician role involves performing preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and making complex repairs on equipment in the safest and most effective way possible to avoid downtime.
Responsibilities
+ Perform preventive maintenance and advanced diagnostics on equipment.
+ Make complex repairs on equipment in the safest and most effective way possible.
+ Work with a variety of equipment including Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines equipment such as large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment.
+ Ensure minimal equipment downtime through effective repairs and maintenance.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ 5+ years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment is strongly preferred.
+ Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills.
+ Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills.
+ Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
+ Previous experience in an industrial/construction environment is preferred.
+ OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
+ Technical degree or certificate is a plus.
+ Demonstrated mechanical abilities working with hand and power tools.

Work Environment
All shop work. The environment is focused on safety and is equipped with a variety of tools and technologies used for maintaining and repairing equipment. Dress code and attire suitable for shop work. Previous experience in a similar industrial/construction environment is preferred.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tracy, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
