Job Title: General Labor
Job Description
Join a dynamic team responsible for an exciting automation upgrade at a major facility. We are seeking General Laborers and Material Handlers to assist in the installation of robotic arms and sub-stations. This role involves using power tools, handling materials, and maintaining the workspace for a 6-8 week project, with potential for extension.
Responsibilities
+ Install 20 robotic arms, approximately 40 sub-stations, and internal site fencing.
+ Utilize power tools, push brooms, and manage materials using a pallet jack.
+ Assist project teams by commissioning, cleaning the warehouse, and constructing robotic arms and stations.
+ Move, strap, and catalog materials with pallet jacks.
+ Use hand and air-powered tools to commission towers according to diagrams.
+ Follow step-by-step instructions for wiring power supplies.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in assembly, material handling, and using hand tools.
+ Industrial general labor experience.
+ Ability to consistently lift 40-50 lbs.
+ Familiarity with working an 8-hour shift on a hard cement floor.
+ Good attendance and ability to take direction.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Openness to working in multiple positions, including inventory, housekeeping, and robotics.
+ Experience in general labor, construction, loading, packaging, and cleaning.
+ Previous experience on similar projects is advantageous.
+ Ability to work independently after training.
+ Perfect attendance is required.
+ Understanding of basic safety practices.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Reliability and good communication skills.

Work Environment
The work environment is a large, multi-floor warehouse facility located in Richmond, TX. The site is under construction, which can make it messy, loud, and crowded at times. Most work is performed on mezzanine levels, with a mix of air conditioning and open-air spaces, making it physically demanding, especially in the summer. Employees will interact with project managers, installers, and fellow handlers. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed shoes, t-shirts, and safety gear such as high-visibility vests, safety glasses, hard hats, gloves, and earplugs. The work schedule is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break, totaling an 8-hour shift, 5 days a week.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
