About you:
Leads and executes all aspects of the quality program within the Croydon site to enable the facility to profitably meet customer and product regulatory requirements related to the quality management system and related business quality strategies. Provides training, coaching, and overall guidance to enhance front line knowledge and accountability for quality across key roles. Promotes and enables a customer-focused culture across multiple plants or within a single plant with complex interfaces and/or requirements. Requires expanded conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and broadens capabilities.
Responsibilities / Duties:
+ Provides leadership to the QC lab personnel to drive consistency in analytical results, teamwork and improved work process development.
+ Leads implementation and maintenance of the business/site quality programs which align to the Business Quality Strategy at the plant level.
+ Trains and provides guidance to plant and other roles that impact product quality on customer and product regulatory requirements, and the use of supporting quality tools and processes to achieve plant and business goals.
+ Provides an effective interface between customers and the plant to ensure consistent high quality service to customers. Represents the “Voice of Customer” at the plant level.
+ Acts as key plant interface to build or enhance cross-functional relationships across multiple sites or within a complex system, services and flow of information between the plant and the customer, Purchasing, Supply chain, R&D/TS&D, Product Stewardship, Commercial organization related to the product quality/regulatory requirements related to the quality management system.
+ Continually improves effectiveness of the quality management system and demonstrates influential leadership in the execution of improvement opportunities.
+ Identifies and leads product quality improvement opportunities and problem-solving efforts at the plant level, as determined through data analysis, customer feedback, continual improvement projects, and other quality-related programs.
+ Generates and uses quality data to drive product quality improvements.
+ Leads plant and/or site-level management of change activities related to product quality.
+ Ensures plant Operating Discipline system, procedures and guidelines meet quality system requirements, as appropriate and serves as element focal point for the quality requirements of the Operating Discipline Management System.
+ Establishes and leads the plant quality system audit program and conducts internal and third party audits, in conjunction with Business or Site strategies, leveraging findings to drive continual improvement.
Required Qualifications:
+ A minimum of a bachelor’s degreeorrelevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 rankingorCanadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant.
+ 3+ years of relevant experience in quality, manufacturing or related experience
+ A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Previous Leadership experience
+ Technical degree, engineering, chemistry, life sciences, etc.
+ Previous Quality Management Systems experience (QMS)

+ Quality Management: Quality management ensures that an organization, product or service is consistent. It has four main components: quality planning, quality assurance, quality control and quality improvement. Quality management is focused not only on product and service quality, but also on the means to achieve it. Quality management, therefore, uses quality assurance and control of processes as well as products to achieve more consistent quality.
+ Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA): Corrective and preventive action consists of improvements to an organization's processes taken to eliminate causes of non-conformities or other undesirable situations. It is usually a set of actions that laws or regulations require an organization to take in manufacturing, documentation, procedures, or systems to rectify and eliminate recurring non-conformance. Non-conformance is identified after systematic evaluation and analysis of the root cause of the non-conformance. Non-conformance may be a market complaint or customer complaint or failure of machinery or a quality management system, or misinterpretation of written instructions to carry out work.
+ Quality Mindset:A Quality Mindset refers to an attitude and approach where individuals and organizations prioritize quality in all aspects of their work.
+ Quality Auditing:A quality audit is a process that involves the systematic identification and examination of a production quality system.
+ Quality Gatekeeping: Person or system that controls access to something to ensure quality, security, or standards are met
+ Leadership- Leadership is the ability of an individual or a group of individuals to influence and guide followers or other members of an organization.
+ Communication - Professional communication, encompasses written, oral, visual and digital communication within a workplace context.
+ Conflict Management - Conflict management is the process of limiting the negative aspects of conflict while increasing the positive aspects of conflict. The aim of conflict management is to enhance learning and group outcomes, including effectiveness or performance in an organizational setting. Properly managed conflict can improve group outcomes.
