Elevate Your Career as an Evening Supervisor of Environmental Services at UPMC Montefiore!

Are you a natural leader with a passion for maintaining pristine environments? We are seeking a dedicated Evening Supervisor to join our team at UPMC Presbyterian/Montefiore. In this role, you will supervise and coordinate the activities of our Lead Persons, Floor & Project Technicians, and Housekeepers to ensure our premises are spotless and well-maintained.

Shift Details:

+ Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

+ Rotating weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:

+ Complete discharges within one hour.

+ Attend all mandatory in-services.

+ Communicate daily with head nurses/unit clerks.

+ Meet all legitimate facility requests promptly.

+ Submit work orders for maintenance repairs.

+ Regularly check assigned areas and ensure compliance; reinforce behavior through praise or corrective action.

+ Ensure equipment is kept clean at all times, and in good running order.

+ Ensure sufficient supplies and equipment; properly label all chemicals and solutions.

+ Oversee Lead Housekeepers, Housekeepers, and Technicians; ensure adequate shift coverage.

+ Handle administrative tasks, employee documentation, and approve PTO within guidelines.

+ Carry and answer 24 hours pager.

+ Perform duties during disasters and drills, act as a liaison between shifts.

+ Complete a minimum of 5 inspections daily utilizing Pocket PC Technology.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

+ HS Diploma/GED required

+ 3 years relevant experience required

+ 1 year of relevant leadership experience required

+ Knowledge and familiarity with chemical use and dilution rates.

+ Basic computer knowledge to include familiarity with MS Office.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

+ Act 34
