    About the role

     

    The Inventory Control Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and tracking the consumption of Raw Materials, including but not limited to, ink, paper stock, cartons, pallets, shrink film, pallet toppers, etc. The coordinator will reduce warehouse capacity by maintaining counts of raw materials. Maintain accurate location of materials to allow shipping clerks to locate materials seamlessly when requested by packaging. Identify when materials need to be ordered based on inventory and production schedule. The coordinator will maintain data entry into shop floor inventory control systems and send out weekly inventory reports.

    What You’ll Do

    + Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy

    + Prepare and distribute weekly reports and others as requested (cartons, pallets, paper, misc supplies, etc)

    + Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand

    + Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories

    + Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity

    + Manage cycle counts of product inventories on a regular basis

    + Identify when running low (threshold to be defined) on certain raw materials and/or consumables and placing the order through purchasing at that time to maintain inventory levels.

    + Coordinate efforts to mitigate potential stock shortages with internal resources as they arise

    + Maintain a small area of “used” inventory for all raw materials.

    + Accurately input inventory into internal systems in a timely manner

    + Identify permanent locations for each raw material type and adhere to the assigned location(s).

    Follow all Brightstar Lottery policies, procedures, and rules related to Code of Conduct, Confidentiality, Information Security, Environmental Compliance, et al.

     

    Education Required (high school, college degree, training, or certifications requirements)

     

    High school diploma or equivalent

     

    Experience Required (years of experience, specific industry or previous job experience requirements)

     

    1-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing, warehouse inventory control or similar role required

    Skills Required (software, technical, industry, equipment, lifting, and physical requirements)

    + Must be able to stand/walk up to 8 hours on shift

    + Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds repetitively and 50 pounds occasionally during the shift

    + Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, push, pull, and twist at torso as needed to perform work

    + Skilled in operation of various types of lifts (forklift, pallet jack, etc) or eligible to be trained/certified

    + Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Word & Excel) and ability to learn internal systems for inventory tracking

    + Self-motivated and self-directed, requiring minimal oversight to meet objectives and timelines

    + Able to follow detailed processes and procedures related to facility operations

    + Must have a positive attitude and strong attention to detail

    + Ability to apply logic to resolve discrepancies with inventory. Strong math skills

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

     

    Preferred Education, Experience or Skills (preferred degree(s), software, experience, equipment, etc)

     

    Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field

     

    SAP experience is a plus

    At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $33,800- $85,176. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

     

    Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
