    Primary Responsibilities

    + Define responsibilities and assign tasks to QA/QC personnel.

    + Prepare and submit quality status and management review reports to the Director of Quality.

    + Oversee document control activities to maintain compliance.

    + Conduct internal audits of the Quality Management System.

    + Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities.

    + Ensure compliance with UL 1316 standards and internal FGS procedures.

    + Collaborate with plant engineering and production teams on continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Manage Management of Change (MOC) and Risk Assessment activities.

    Job Duties

    + Support quality assurance programs to meet regulatory and company standards.

    + Analyze and interpret data to ensure product quality and process improvement.

    + Operate measurement tools such as scales, OD tape, rulers, and thread height gauges.

    + Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.

    + Work in a factory environment with varying temperatures and physical demands.

    + Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. for up to 12 hours daily.

    + Maintain safety and compliance in a fast-paced, team-oriented work setting.

    + Follow technical repair and assembly guidelines as needed.

     

    Education and Qualifications

     

    + Associate's Degree required; Bachelors Degree is preferred.

    + Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.

    + In lieu of QA/QC experience, 10 years of relevant manufacturing experience will be considered.

    + Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

    + Must pass a drug screen and background check.

    + Strong mathematical aptitude required.

    + Experience in ISO, API, ASME, or similar certified environments preferred.

    + Training in ISO 9001 is a plus.

    + Able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

     

    Pay Range

     

    + $78,000-$84,000 annual salary
