Our "Customization" department in "xx location" is now looking for a V&I Assembler.

Key Tasks

Essential Job Results

ASSEMBLES QUALITY PRODUCT BY:

Gluing metal valve and hoses into cushion; inserting grommets; snapping mattresses; inflating cushions; hanging the cushion on the appropriate trolley line; placing stickers on the ISO Flow; using a handheld brush and vacuum cleaner to remove debris from all assembled cushions prior to valving and inflating, in absences.

SUPPORTS OPERATIONS BY:

Assembling key chains; assisting assembling components on IFC installation/assembly as needed.

MAINTAIN QUALITY SERVICE BY:

Keeping error rates minimal and within acceptable ranges; correctly reading work orders and diagrams for customs; maintaining an efficient work pace; meeting and exceeding all performance measurements: quantity, accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness of work performed.

Secondary Job Results

Maintains safe and clean work environment by:

Operating all machinery in a safe and efficient manner; reporting any safety hazards to assigned supervisor or safety manager; complying with all safety and quality policies, practices and procedures.

Contributes to team effort by:

Maintaining a good attendance record; accomplishing related results as needed. Assemble components on IFC installation/assembly as needed when shorthanded.

Maintains technical knowledge by:

Attending educational workshops, seminars, and conferences.
