    General Summary

    Provides administrative support for the employment function through coordination and performance of support tasks and employment database management.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Essential Functions:

    + Ensures new hires are completing tasks in a timely manner to start in an appropriate timeframe.

    + Provides administrative, organizational, and clerical assistance and support for the employment process through the coordination of applicant tracking, communication with job applicants and new hires, applicant screening and background checks.

    + Maintains onboarding employment data.

    + Researches applicant histories and documentation surrounding hiring decisions, assembling information for inspection and presentation.

    + Provides assistance to new employee processing, new employee orientation and the development of employee personnel files.

    + Ensures data accuracy of new hire information collected

    + Coordinates the onboarding process for the use of temporary workers and maintains system database.

    + Maintain established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment and safety standards

    + Provides phone coverage for respective HR offices where applicable

    + Collects, scans, and tracks compliance documents for regulatory agencies

    + Reviews all hiring requisitions for accuracy in the HRIS and makes necessary corrections prior to submission for hiring

    + Assists with New Employee Orientation

    + Assists in Human Resources office operations, special initiatives and projects as requested.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education:

    + High School Diploma or GED Required

    + Associates Degree Preferred

    Work Experience:

    + Less than 1 year Relevant experience. Required and

    + Business or customer service experience. Required

    + Project coordination/management or Information Management experience. Preferred

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Extensive skills with automated office applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite and related programs.

    + Excellent communication/interpersonal skills with exceptional ability in the use of grammar and the English language in speech and written format in order to provide written communication that is readily understood and accurate, and also to facilitate verbal communication with all customers and other staff.
