    Your role and responsibilities

    Position Role:

    IBM is seeking an Outbound Product Manager to help drive the strategy, development, outreach, and execution of our next-generation portfolio of Business Automation offerings, which leverage agentic AI to empower enterprise users to complete their work more quickly, easily and at a lower cost than ever before. As a member of the cross-portfolio team, you will apply a combination of business and technology experience to plan, coordinate, and execute cross-product messaging, sales team enablement, market analysis, and customer outreach in support of market leading IBM Business Automation software products. In your role you will be expected to lead collaborations with other Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Technical Sales teams in support of business outcomes. You will also serve as a voice of the customer, identifying market opportunities and helping to shaping the portfolio roadmap to deliver innovative capabilities that delight our clients and drive business impacts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Strategic Leadership: As a member of the cross-portfolio outbound product management team, you will serve as a leading voice of cross-portfolio strategy, align multiple portfolio stakeholders, deliver valuable outcomes, and realize the intended impacts.

    * Strategic Vision: Assist in creating and sharing cross-portfolio strategic guidance to shape product vision and roadmaps aligned with IBM’s business goals.

    * Cross-Functional Product Management Leadership: Collaborate with Product Teams, UX designers, engineers, marketing, and sales to deliver cohesive, high-impact product experiences.

    * Go-to-Market Strategy: Work closely with marketing and product teams to craft compelling narratives that enhance product understanding and brand visibility for the Business Automation portfolio or products.

    * Sales Enablement: Working with individual product managers, coordinate the planning, creation, and execution of robust sales education and enablement programs for the Business Automation portfolio of products.

    * Customer-Centric Innovation: Identify customer needs and market opportunities through data analytics, direct customer interaction, and competitive research.

    * Customer Advocacy: Lead customer presentations and product demonstrations with clarity and confidence.

    * Define Success Metrics: Define and track KPIs to measure product success and inform future iterations.

    * Agile Team Facilitation: Foster an Agile team environment, maximizing productivity throughout the entire product development lifecycle.

    Required technical and professional expertise

    * 3-5 years of project management, product marketing, or program management experience

    * Bachelor's degree or higher in business, software engineering, data science, operations, or related product/process management fields.

    * Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

    * Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to create and give presentations to leaders, colleagues, and customers.

    * Strong organizational skills: Ability to properly organize, maintain, and prioritize multiple cross-functional tasks.

    * Ability to establish, organize, and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.

    * Strong interest in product management with the ability to work in fast-paced, iterative environments.

    * Adaptability: A proactive and flexible attitude, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a product management role.

    * Poses a high interest and aptitude to learn the capabilities of cloud-native, AI process-automation technologies.

     

    Preferred technical and professional experience

    MBA or equivalent Graduate Degree
