Skills and Requirements

7+ years of experience in AI/ML with a strong focus on Generative AI, NLP, and cloud-based prototyping (GCP, AWS, Gemini, LangChain, etc.)

Proven track record in rapid prototyping, ideation, and pre-production R&Despecially in applied innovation environments

Deep understanding of AI model architecture, hyperparameter tuning, and generative modeling metrics

Experience building GenAI Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) and integrating them into application workflows

Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business problems into AI solutions and present to technical and non-technical stakeholders Verizons Tech Product Development Innovation team is seeking a visionary and hands-on AI Architect to accelerate the development of cutting-edge AI-driven prototypes and solutions. This role is central to transforming early-stage business concepts into tangible, scalable AI workflows. Youll work in a fast-paced, lab-based environment with the freedom to explore, iterate, and innovate using the latest in Generative AI, NLP, and cloud-native technologies. Your day-to-day will involve close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate abstract requirements into AI architectures, rapid prototyping of ideas, and guiding feasibility assessments. Youll also serve as a technical advisor, helping the team stay ahead of emerging trends and tools in the AI ecosystem.
