    Position: Engineer 1, Atlas Technical Consultants, LLC, Chicago, IL.

     

    Duties: Provide technical support for Landside, Airfield and Passenger terminal planning; adhere to all traffic/transit/aviation design concepts, software, manuals, and criteria; perform travel time runs for bus and rail modes; conduct field measurements of passenger facilities; perform technical administrative duties such as preparing reports, tables, graphs and charts; perform compilation of data and convert them into information, plans, presentations; maintain technical files and supporting documentation in accordance with company policy and accepted practices. 10% travel within Cook County, Illinois.

     

    Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Planning, Urban Planning, or Aviation Operations Management plus 6 months of experience with GIS, AutoCAD or MicroStation; 6 months of experience with the process of taking raw data and developing analytical models in Excel, Power BI, or Python. Also must have a valid driver’s license.
