Job Posting: Associate Attorney – Discovery/Legal Research & Writing

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

A growing national law firm, committed to advocating for victims, is seeking an Associate Attorney specializing in Discovery/Legal Research & Writing to join one of its litigation teams at its St. Louis, Missouri office. This confidential opportunity is ideal for energetic, driven, and detail-oriented attorneys eager to make a meaningful impact.

About the Role:

This position focuses on discovery, legal research, and writing with a breadth of responsibilities, including:

+ Conducting legal research and drafting law and motion briefs.

+ Opposing dispositive motions and managing written discovery (propounding/responding).

+ Taking and defending depositions and participating in second or third chair trial work.

+ Managing court dockets and assisting case-handling attorneys.

+ Preparing subpoenas, FOIA requests, and summarizing documents tied to deposition testimony.

+ Engaging in meetings and conferences with opposing counsel and court appearances.

The Ideal Candidate:

We’re seeking a discovery/legal research and writing attorney who possesses:

+ Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.

+ Hands-on experience with discovery and law and motion briefs.

+ The ability to build strong client relationships and work collaboratively as part of a team.

+ A passion for representing injured clients and a commitment to achieving outstanding results.
