    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager for a long-term contract opportunity supporting a higher education institution. This role is focused on driving process improvements and streamlined workflows around the accounts payable and fixed asset workstream. The ideal individual will have state accounting experience, strong technical skills and mastery of intermediate/advanced Excel. This is an exciting opportunity for a Dynamic leader to take charge of existing processes and streamline for efficiency! Experience with Cardinal software highly preferred!     Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute a robust improved workflows in accounts payable and fixed assets

    • Lead and hold the team accountable to KPI's developed

    • Ensure processes are documented and accessible for training and development

     

    Overall execution on developed strategies for efficient and accurate processes in accounts payable and the fixed asset accounting process are the goal!

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in oversight of Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets

    • Proven expertise in accounting within the higher education or similar accounting environment

    • Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in Excel / Experience using Cardinal highly preferred

    • Demonstated success in streamlining processes and developing improved workflows

    • Experience developing KPI's and managing a team to results highly desired
