Description We are actively seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor for our legal sector team, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be expected to manage a team of Accounting Representatives, oversee daily tasks, and maintain a high level of communication with clients. This role also involves handling various accounting functions, utilizing different accounting software systems, and conducting regular audits.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and provide direction to a team of Accounting Representatives

• Ensure efficient completion of daily tasks within the accounting department

• Maintain constant communication with clients regarding remittances through various reporting methods

• Utilize different Accounting Software Systems, including ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, and Concur

• Oversee the posting and reconciliation of accounts receivable

• Handle incoming and outgoing ACHs wires

• Process and send remits, debtor overpayment refunds, preference claims/refunds, and court cost refunds to clients

• Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of accounting functions

• Oversee the payment of all court costs, sheriff fees, and attorney costs and fees

• Assist in project management of ongoing and new projects within the Accounting Department. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the legal industry

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems for managing financial data

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services for efficient payroll management

• Demonstrated skills in using BlackLine for automated financial close operations

• Familiarity with Concur for streamlined expense reporting

• Proven knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for improved business process management

• Ability to perform all necessary Accounting Functions including financial reporting and analysis

• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and ensuring timely payments

• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) including invoicing and collections

• Strong skills in Auditing to ensure adherence to legal standards and company policies

• Proficiency in managing Billing Functions including creating, sending, and tracking invoices
