We are looking for a meticulous and organized Bookkeeper to manage essential accounting tasks and maintain accurate financial records for our organization. In this role, you will handle bank reconciliations, accounts payable processes, and financial reporting to support operational efficiency and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transactional accounting, intermediate Excel skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly.

• Process and post accounts payable transactions, ensuring correct coding and proper documentation.

• Reconcile accounts payable balances and address any inconsistencies in a timely manner.

• Generate ad hoc financial reports to support decision-making and other finance-related activities.

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records in compliance with company policies and industry standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams to verify transactions and provide support with inquiries.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data to maintain accuracy and reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in transactional accounting, including accounts payable, reconciliations, and general ledger tasks.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis tools.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and address inquiries.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite is preferred but not required.
