    Description

    We are looking for a Senior HR Generalist to join our team in Pleasanton, California, on a long-term contract basis. This role is ideal for an experienced HR individual who excels in managing employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance while providing proactive support across various HR functions. The position requires a collaborative approach and a keen understanding of HR systems and processes to ensure smooth operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide expert guidance on staffing strategies, benefits administration, leave management, employee training programs, and fostering positive employee relations.

    • Respond to employee inquiries and requests through HR ticketing systems, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.

    • Maintain and update employment records and support compliance reporting, including preparation for audits and regulatory standards.

    • Oversee daily operations related to benefits programs, including 403(b) eligibility, vendor coordination, and unemployment claims processing.

    • Assist in the development and updates of HR policies while ensuring accessibility of HR content across internal platforms.

    • Contribute to the planning and execution of HR events, committee meetings, and employee resource group initiatives.

    • Manage the HR website, ensuring content accuracy and relevance to organizational goals.

     

    Requirements • Proven experience in employee relations and HR administration, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.

     

    • Proficiency in HRIS systems, specifically Workday or similar platforms, to manage HR operations effectively.

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, enabling data analysis and reporting.

    • Expertise in benefits administration, including coordination of 403(b) plans and vendor management.

    • Strong knowledge of onboarding and termination processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to employee inquiries with professionalism.

    • Familiarity with maintaining HR content and supporting organizational events and committees.

    • Commitment to ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
